This month marks 9 years since I started Laurel Elaine Jewelry! As I celebrate this milestone, I've been reflecting on the journey and the things I've learned along the way. Below are just a few of the lessons learned:
Jewelry is personal. Not just when it comes to style and fit, but also what it means, how it makes you feel and how it connects people to one another.
Some days you just don't have it. One day every piece I make is beautiful and another I just can't seem to get it right (and end up recycling a lot of metal). Progress is not linear and that's okay.
It can take a long time to find your artistic style. If you've been around since the beginning you've seen beaded bracelets, button rings, and fuchsia gemstones 🙈 It was years before I found and trusted in my style as a designer.
Take the first step. It is so easy to get overwhelmed, especially when so many things in running a business are brand new. You don't have to know the entire journey as long your willing to take the first step and trust that you can figure it out as you go.
To celebrate our anniversary, next week we're bringing back our best selling hammered drop earrings, but only for one day! Join our list and keep an eye on your inbox next Thursday to make sure you don't miss out.

Your style and jewelry has become so much more refined over the last nine years. So pretty and much more delicate.
